T41 Stuart Grobler Regional Excellence Award
T41 Stuart joined as a founding member back in late 1990 and he chaired the Gauteng region for 1998, 1999 and 2000 stepping down at the end of 2000.
On 18 April 2010, Stuart became one of the first Honorary Life Vice Presidents.
He was instrumental in the creation of SARZA’s new constitution which was brought into being in February 2018 when the National Council was formed. Stuart served on the National Council until his passing on 23rd July 2023
In 2021 when SARZA went through the name change and rebranding, Stuart was again a driving force, guiding and steering everyone through the process.
Always in the background but always with a guiding hand on the wheel.
The T41 Stuart Grobler Memorial trophy was introduced in 2024 to recognize regional excellence within SARZA.
